Alex J. Ephraim focuses his practice on complex litigation including securities litigation, shareholder disputes, data breach, and financial industry matters, including arbitrations. He also represents investment advisors, registered representatives, money managers, and individuals in disputes involving federal and state securities laws, FINRA regulations, investment-related sales practices, and employment issues within the financial services sector.

Mr. Ephraim has experience with securities class actions, ERISA class actions, shareholder litigation, and FINRA arbitrations. He also counsels clients through pre-litigation disputes and assists individuals and businesses responding to subpoenas and regulatory investigations involving the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). His approach emphasizes strategic advocacy, practical guidance, and responsive client communication throughout every stage of the legal process.

Prior to joining Federman & Sherwood, Mr. Ephraim practiced general civil litigation, representing clients in a broad range of matters involving oil and gas lease and royalty disputes, employment claims, government investigations, breach of contract, water rights, and property developments. His diverse litigation background provides valuable insight into navigating high-stakes disputes across multiple industries.
