Wheels Up Partners LLC Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (December 11, 2025) – Federman & Sherwood, a national law firm focused on data breach and consumer protection litigation, is investigating a cybersecurity incident involving Wheels Up Partners LLC, following the company’s recent filing with the Office of the Attorney General of Maine.

According to the regulatory filing and consumer notice, Wheels Up detected suspicious activity on October 23, 2025, indicating that an unauthorized actor may have accessed and copied files from its information technology systems. The company immediately launched an investigation with the assistance of third-party cybersecurity specialists. The review confirmed that unauthorized access occurred on October 20, 2025, and that files containing personal information were removed from the network.

On November 3, 2025, Wheels Up completed its analysis of the affected files and determined that personal information concerning certain individuals—including 10 Maine residents—was involved. The compromised information includes names and Social Security numbers.

Wheels Up issued written notifications to Maine residents on or around December 9, 2025, advising impacted individuals of the breach and providing resources for protection.

After discovering the incident, Wheels Up secured its environment, notified federal law enforcement, strengthened internal privacy and cybersecurity controls, and began implementing additional workforce training to reduce the likelihood of similar events in the future.

To help safeguard affected individuals, Wheels Up is offering one year of complimentary identity monitoring and credit protection services through Epiq, including credit monitoring, dark web monitoring, identity restoration assistance, and identity theft insurance. The notification letter also provides detailed instructions for placing fraud alerts, instituting credit freezes, reviewing credit reports, and reporting suspected identity theft.

Federman & Sherwood is investigating whether Wheels Up maintained appropriate data security safeguards prior to the breach, whether the incident could have been prevented, and what legal remedies may exist for those whose information was compromised.

The compromised information may have included:

  • Full name
  • Social Security number
  • Other sensitive information
