Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (June 5, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces that it is investigating a recent data breach involving Welts, White & Fontaine, P.C. (WWF), a law firm that recently notified individuals of a significant data security incident impacting personal information.

According to a notice sent to affected individuals, the incident involved unauthorized access to systems containing sensitive personal information, including Social Security numbers. The breach has prompted concerns about the potential misuse of confidential data and the adequacy of safeguards in place to protect it.

In response to the breach, WWF offered affected individuals twelve (12) months of credit monitoring and fraud assistance services through Cyberscout, a TransUnion company. The firm also provided detailed recommendations for protecting against identity theft, including how to place fraud alerts and credit freezes, obtain free credit reports, and contact law enforcement and regulatory agencies if suspicious activity is detected.
