Victory Disability Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (December 15, 2025) – Federman & Sherwood, a national law firm focused on data breach and consumer privacy litigation, is investigating a cybersecurity incident involving Victory Disability, following the firm’s recent notification to the California Attorney General.
According to the consumer notice, Victory Disability became aware in November 2025 of claims that an unauthorized party had obtained information belonging to the firm. Victory promptly initiated an investigation with the assistance of third-party cybersecurity specialists and notified federal law enforcement. The investigation determined that between October 27, 2025, and November 12, 2025, an unknown actor accessed a portion of Victory’s environment and may have viewed or copied certain stored information.
The information involved varies by individual but may include names, contact information (such as addresses, email addresses, and telephone numbers), Social Security numbers, dates of birth, and medical information, including diagnoses, treatment details, medications, and laboratory results, if such information was provided in connection with a client’s disability claim.
In response to the incident, Victory is offering 24 months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services through Cyberscout, a TransUnion company. These services include credit monitoring, dark web monitoring, fraud assistance, and identity theft restoration support.
Federman & Sherwood is investigating whether Victory Disability implemented reasonable data security safeguards, whether the incident could have been prevented, and what legal rights or remedies may be available to individuals affected whose personal information was compromised.
The compromised information may have included:
- Full name
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Contact information (address, telephone number, email)
- Medical information
- Other sensitive information
