VeraBank Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (December 29, 2025) – Federman & Sherwood is investigating a data breach involving VeraBank, following a notification filed with the Maine Attorney General.

According to the filing, the incident stemmed from a cybersecurity breach at VeraBank’s vendor, Marquis Software Solutions, which discovered unauthorized access to its network on August 14, 2025. The compromised information may have included:

  • Full name
  • Social Security number
  • Financial information
  • Other sensitive information
