Valley Radiology Consultants Medical Group Inc. Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
March 5, 2026 – Federman & Sherwood is investigating a data breach involving Valley Radiology Consultants Medical Group Inc., following a notification filed with the California Attorney General.
According to the notice, Valley Radiology detected suspicious activity within its computer systems on or about September 15, 2025. The organization immediately secured its systems and engaged a third-party cybersecurity firm to conduct a forensic investigation. The investigation determined that certain files, including patient files, were accessed by an unauthorized actor. Valley Radiology finalized the list of individuals to notify on February 18, 2026.
Although the company reported that it has no evidence that information has been misused, the files involved in the incident contained sensitive personal and patient information.
In response to the incident, Valley Radiology reported taking steps to enhance system security, including disconnecting access to the affected network, changing passwords, and implementing additional safeguards. The company is also offering affected individuals twelve months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services through Cyberscout, a TransUnion company.
