Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (September 17, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces that it is investigating a data breach involving Trusteed Plans Service Corporation (TPSC), a custom health benefit solutions provider based in Tacoma, Washington.
According to a notice filed with the Maine Attorney General, TPSC detected unusual activity in its computer systems on December 26, 2024. A forensic investigation confirmed that an unauthorized user accessed TPSC’s environment and obtained sensitive information. On August 7, 2025, TPSC completed a data mining exercise to identify impacted individuals and confirmed that personal data—including names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, and health information—may have been exposed.
Notification letters were mailed on September 15, 2025, to affected individuals, including four Maine residents. While TPSC has not received reports of identity theft related to this incident, the company is offering 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection services.
