The TEAM Companies (“TTC”) Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (November 24, 2025) – Federman & Sherwood is investigating a cybersecurity incident involving The TEAM Companies (“TTC”) following the company’s notification to the Attorney General of Maine.
According to the notice, TTC detected unauthorized activity on its internal network on July 21, 2025. After isolating affected systems, the company notified federal law enforcement and engaged third-party forensic specialists to assist with containment, investigation, and remediation. The investigation determined that the unauthorized activity occurred between July 15, 2025, and July 26, 2025.
TTC confirmed that the unauthorized party accessed data containing personal information. The specific information varied by individual and may have included name, address, date of birth, government-issued identification number, financial account information, and health information. TTC reports that, as of now, there is no evidence that the compromised data has been sold, published, or misused, and dark-web monitoring has not identified any exposed TTC information.
As part of its response, TTC has provided affected individuals with 24 months of complimentary Single Bureau Credit Monitoring, Credit Score, Credit Report, dark web monitoring, and proactive fraud assistance, offered through Cyberscout, a TransUnion company. Impacted individuals must enroll within 90 days.
Federman & Sherwood is investigating whether The TEAM Companies implemented reasonable and appropriate data security safeguards, whether this breach could have been prevented, and what legal rights may be available to Maine residents and other affected individuals.
The compromised information may have included:
- Full name
- Social Security number
- Other sensitive information
