The Business Council of New York State, Inc. (“BCNYS”) Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (August 19, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces that it is investigating a data breach involving The Business Council of New York State, Inc. (“BCNYS”), headquartered in Albany, New York.
According to a notice filed with the Maine Attorney General, BCNYS recently determined that certain personal information in its possession may have been exposed in a cybersecurity incident. The organization reports that it has taken steps to strengthen its internal controls and enhance system safeguards to reduce the risk of similar incidents in the future.
