TELACU Property Management, Inc. (“TPM”) Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (November 11, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces it is investigating a data breach involving TELACU Property Management, Inc. (“TPM”), following the company’s filing of a data breach notification with the California Attorney General.
According to the notification, TPM detected that it was the target of a data security incident on or about July 8, 2025. Upon discovery, the company took immediate steps to secure its systems and launched an investigation with the assistance of external cybersecurity experts. The investigation concluded on November 3, 2025, confirming that an unauthorized third party attempted to infiltrate TPM’s computer network and that certain personal information may have been exposed.
The information potentially affected varies by individual, but may include names, driver’s license numbers, and/or Social Security numbers. TPM stated that it has not received any reports of identity theft or misuse related to the incident as of the date of its notice.
To assist impacted individuals, TELACU Property Management is providing 12 months of complimentary Single Bureau Credit Monitoring, Credit Report, and Credit Score services through Cyberscout, a TransUnion company specializing in identity protection and fraud resolution. These services include proactive fraud assistance and ongoing alerts in the event of changes to an individual’s credit file.
TPM has also enhanced its network security systems, reviewed data management practices, and implemented new safeguards to reduce the risk of future incidents.
Federman & Sherwood is investigating whether TELACU Property Management took adequate steps to secure the personal data it maintained and whether affected individuals may be entitled to compensation, additional identity protection, or other remedies.
The compromised information may have included:
- Full name
- Social Security number
- Driver’s license information
- Financial information
- Other sensitive information
