Technomics, Inc. Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (November 18, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces an investigation into a data breach involving Technomics, Inc., following the company’s filing of a data breach notification with the Attorney General of Maine.
According to the notification sent to impacted individuals, Technomics discovered suspicious activity within its Microsoft 365 environment on July 15, 2025. Upon detecting the issue, the company immediately secured affected systems and engaged external cybersecurity specialists to conduct a forensic investigation. The investigation determined that an unauthorized party had gained access to certain systems and accounts and copied files stored within those systems without permission. After completing a detailed review of the compromised files, Technomics finalized the list of individuals whose information was impacted on October 31, 2025.
The information involved varies by individual but may include names in combination with additional personal data elements maintained within the copied files.
Technomics reports that it enhanced its security controls, updated internal protocols, and implemented additional safeguards to prevent similar incidents. To support individuals affected by the breach, Technomics is offering 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services through Cyberscout, a TransUnion company. These services include single-bureau credit monitoring, credit report and score access, identity theft insurance, and proactive fraud assistance.
Federman & Sherwood is investigating whether Technomics, Inc. took adequate measures to safeguard the personal information in its care and whether affected individuals may be entitled to compensation, extended identity monitoring, or other legal remedies.
