Strategic Investment Solutions, Inc. Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
February 23, 2026 – Federman & Sherwood is investigating a data breach involving Strategic Investment Solutions, Inc. (“SIS”), following a notification filed with the Maine Attorney General.
According to the notice, on or about November 3, 2025, SIS experienced a cyber event impacting certain servers on its network. An investigation determined that certain data may have been subject to unauthorized access. On January 14, 2026, SIS determined that personal information was present within the affected data.
The information potentially involved includes individuals’ first and last names along with additional sensitive personal data elements.
SIS is offering one year of complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection services through Epiq Privacy Solutions ID.
Federman & Sherwood is investigating whether Strategic Investment Solutions implemented adequate data security safeguards and whether affected individuals may have legal claims.
