Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (September 17, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces an investigation into a recently disclosed data breach involving Statewide Enterprises, Inc., based in Los Angeles, California.
According to a notice filed with the California Attorney General, Statewide Enterprises detected a disruption to its computer network on October 17, 2024. Following an internal investigation with the assistance of cybersecurity professionals, the company confirmed on July 11, 2025, that an unauthorized actor had removed certain files from its network.

The company has also enhanced its cybersecurity practices to help prevent future incidents. As an added precaution, Statewide Enterprises is offering 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring, credit report, and credit score services to impacted individuals, along with proactive fraud assistance services through Cyberscout, a TransUnion company specializing in fraud remediation.
