Spitler, Kilgore & Enck, PC (“SKE”) Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (June 17, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces that it is investigating a data breach involving Spitler, Kilgore & Enck, PC (“SKE”), a law firm based in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. On or about June 13, 2025, SKE began notifying individuals of a data security incident that occurred in June 2024 and may have compromised sensitive personal information.
According to the notification issued by SKE, an unauthorized actor gained access to the firm’s network on June 26, 2024, and accessed or exfiltrated files containing personal data. The firm discovered the breach the following day, on June 27, 2024, and launched an investigation with the assistance of external cybersecurity experts. A subsequent data review concluded on May 21, 2025, confirmed that the information involved may include names in combination with Social Security numbers, government-issued ID numbers, financial information, and other personal identifiers.
In response to the incident, SKE is offering affected individuals complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection services through IDX, including cyber monitoring and identity theft recovery services. The firm has also notified the Federal Bureau of Investigation and implemented enhanced cybersecurity protocols.
