Solotech Inc. Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood

April 28, 2026 – Federman & Sherwood is investigating a data breach involving Solotech Inc. following a notification filed with the Attorney General of Maine.

According to the notice, Solotech became aware of unauthorized access to certain computer systems on or about March 31, 2026. The company determined that an unauthorized third party may have accessed personal information during a brief period between March 30 and March 31, 2026.

The potentially impacted information includes individuals’ names, contact information, dates of birth, government-issued identification numbers, financial account details, and other employment-related or insurance-related information.

Solotech reported that it has secured the affected systems, engaged cybersecurity professionals, and is working with law enforcement. Although there is no confirmed misuse of the information at this time, the company is offering affected individuals two (2) years of complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services through Equifax.

Federman & Sherwood is investigating whether Solotech Inc. implemented adequate data security safeguards and whether affected individuals may have legal claims.
