SitusAMC Holdings Corporation Data Breach Class Action Settlement
August 28, 2026 – A proposed $5.3 million class action settlement has been reached in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York resolving claims arising from a November 2025 data security incident involving SitusAMC Holdings Corporation (“SitusAMC”).
The lawsuit, styled In re SitusAMC Holdings Corporation Data Breach Litigation, Case No. 1:25-cv-9748, concerns a data incident that occurred on or about November 12, 2025, involving unauthorized access to and exfiltration of information from SitusAMC’s systems. The potentially affected information may have included names, dates of birth, Social Security or taxpayer identification numbers, driver’s license and other government-issued identification numbers, financial account information, medical records, and health insurance information. SitusAMC denies wrongdoing, and the Court has not decided in favor of either party.
The settlement class generally consists of individuals in the United States who were sent notice that their personal information was involved in the data incident.
Under the proposed settlement, SitusAMC will establish a $5.3 million Settlement Fund. Settlement Class Members automatically receive an enrollment code for one year of credit monitoring, which includes identity restoration services and $1 million in identity theft insurance. Eligible class members may also submit claims for up to $5,000 in documented losses and an estimated $75 flat cash payment. Qualifying California residents may also claim an additional $50 statutory payment, subject to the terms of the settlement.
The deadline to object to or request exclusion from the settlement is October 22, 2026, and the deadline to submit a claim is November 6, 2026. The Court has scheduled a Final Approval Hearing for November 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
