Rockrose Development L.L.C. Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (December 15, 2025) – Federman & Sherwood, a national law firm concentrating on data breach and consumer privacy litigation, is investigating a cybersecurity incident involving Rockrose Development L.L.C., following the company’s notification to the Attorneys General of California, Maine and Texas
According to the consumer notice, Rockrose launched an internal investigation after learning unauthorized individuals accessed Rockrose’s systems and claimed to have acquired confidential information stored on certain systems. Rockrose engaged third-party cybersecurity experts to assist in the investigation and took steps to secure its systems while implementing additional safeguards to enhance security.
Rockrose determined that personally identifiable information for certain individuals may have been involved in the incident. The information potentially involved may include names, Social Security numbers, taxpayer identification numbers, driver’s license numbers, passport numbers, bank account and routing numbers, health insurance information, medical information, and online account credentials, depending on the individual.
Rockrose reports that it has no confirmed evidence of identity theft or misuse associated with this incident at this time. Written notices to affected individuals are dated December 12, 2025.
In response to the incident, Rockrose strengthened cybersecurity controls and is continuing to work with internal and external experts to further enhance system security. To assist affected individuals, Rockrose is offering 24 months of complimentary Experian IdentityWorks identity protection and credit monitoring services, which include credit monitoring, fraud detection tools, identity restoration support, and identity theft insurance.
Federman & Sherwood is investigating whether Rockrose Development L.L.C. maintained reasonable data security practices, whether the unauthorized access could have been prevented, and what legal rights or remedies may be available to affected California, Maine and/or Texas residents and others whose information may have been compromised.
The compromised information may have included:
- Full name
- Social Security number
- Taxpayer identification number
- Passport number
- Financial information
- Other sensitive information
