Print Media Association (“PMA”) Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (September 12, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces it is investigating the recent data breach involving the Print Media Association (“PMA”).

According to a notice filed with the Attorney General of Maine, PMA detected suspicious activity within its email environment on May 5, 2025. An investigation determined that between May 1 and May 5, 2025, an unauthorized third party gained access to certain PMA email accounts. A detailed review of the impacted data, completed on August 11, 2025, revealed that the compromised information included names and Social Security numbers of certain individuals.

PMA has begun notifying affected individuals, including approximately two Maine residents, and has offered 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring services through Experian. Impacted individuals have also been advised to remain vigilant for signs of fraud or identity theft.
