Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (November 5, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces it is investigating a data breach involving the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (“PCA”), following the filing of a data breach notification with the Attorney General of Maine.

According to the notification, PCA became aware of unusual activity within its network on or about July 25, 2025. An internal investigation, supported by third-party forensic specialists, determined that certain information may have been copied by an unauthorized individual between July 10, 2025, and July 25, 2025. PCA then conducted a comprehensive review of the affected data to identify the individuals whose information may have been impacted, and that review was completed on October 23, 2025.

PCA reports that it has implemented enhanced security controls and has begun notifying affected individuals. The organization is also offering 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring, credit report access, credit score monitoring, and fraud support services through Cyberscout, a TransUnion company.

Federman & Sherwood is investigating the incident to determine whether PCA took adequate steps to secure the personal data in its possession and whether affected individuals may be entitled to compensation, extended identity protection, or other remedies.

Individuals who received a notification letter from Philadelphia Corporation for Aging, or who believe their information may have been affected, are encouraged to contact Federman & Sherwood to learn more about their legal rights.
