Personic Management Company LLC Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (November 20, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces that it has initiated an investigation into the data breach involving Personic Management Company LLC (“Personic”). The incident was disclosed in a notice filed with the Attorney General of Maine and in letters mailed to impacted individuals.
According to the notification, Personic—along with its affiliates, subsidiaries, and managed professional entities—reported that it became aware of unauthorized activity involving a third-party software platform used to process patient information. On September 1, 2025, Personic was alerted to suspicious activity and immediately initiated an investigation with the assistance of third-party cybersecurity experts. The investigation confirmed that an unauthorized actor accessed the platform on August 29, 2025, and acquired certain data.
Following an extensive data review, Personic determined on October 13, 2025, that the compromised information included protected health information (PHI) belonging to patients. Impacted individuals have been notified and offered 24 months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services.
While Personic reports that it has no evidence of fraudulent misuse of the information at this time, it has implemented additional cybersecurity enhancements and is advising individuals to remain vigilant, review financial and health-related account statements, and utilize the complimentary monitoring services.
Federman & Sherwood is investigating whether Personic implemented reasonable and adequate data-security measures, whether the breach could have been prevented, and what rights may be available to impacted individuals under state and federal law.
