PennantPark Investment Advisers, LLC Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (July 3, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces that it is investigating a data breach recently disclosed by PennantPark Investment Advisers, LLC (“PennantPark”). The breach notification was filed with the Attorney General of Maine and affects an undisclosed number of individuals.
According to the notice, PennantPark detected unauthorized access to certain systems between December 22, 2024, and March 7, 2025. Following a forensic review, the company determined on June 12, 2025, that certain files accessed during the breach contained personal information, which may include sensitive personal identifiers.
While PennantPark states there is no evidence at this time that the exposed information has been misused, affected individuals were notified on or about June 30, 2025, and are being offered complimentary identity protection services through IDX, including 24 months of credit monitoring, identity theft recovery assistance, and a $1 million insurance reimbursement policy.
