PDCM Insurance Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood

October 1, 2026 – Federman & Sherwood is investigating the PDCM Insurance data breach following notifications filed in Texas and Vermont.

According to the Texas filing, the PDCM Insurance data breach affected 1,047 Texas residents, with additional individuals potentially affected nationwide. Information potentially affected includes names, addresses, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, medical information, and health insurance information. The Vermont filing also identifies Social Security numbers as affected.

PDCM Insurance reported providing notice to affected Texas residents through U.S. Mail.

Insurance organizations may maintain highly sensitive personal, medical, and insurance-related information. The combination of Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, medical information, and health insurance information may increase the risk of identity theft, medical identity theft, insurance fraud, and other forms of misuse.
