North Metro Harness Initiative, LLC Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (December 22, 2025) – Federman & Sherwood announces that it is investigating a data security incident involving North Metro Harness Initiative, LLC, which does business as Running Aces Casino & Racetrack, following a notification filed with the Attorney General of Maine.

According to the notification, North Metro Harness Initiative, LLC discovered a data security incident on or about August 12, 2025. A third-party forensic investigation determined that unauthorized access to its systems occurred between July 27, 2025, and August 14, 2025. The company reported that it promptly launched an investigation, engaged cybersecurity experts, and notified law enforcement.

Following a review of the affected data, the company determined that personal information may have been impacted. While the notice states that there is no evidence at this time that the information has been misused, affected individuals were notified and offered complimentary identity protection services through Experian IdentityWorks.
