Naval Continuing Care Retirement Foundation, Inc. d/b/a Fleet Landing Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (November 6, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces that it is investigating a data breach involving Naval Continuing Care Retirement Foundation, Inc. d/b/a Fleet Landing, following the organization’s filing of a data breach notification with the Attorney General of Maine.
According to the notification, Fleet Landing discovered suspicious activity on its network on September 12, 2024, and promptly worked to secure its systems. Fleet Landing engaged cybersecurity incident response professionals to investigate the incident. The investigation determined that an unauthorized party gained access to Fleet Landing’s network between September 11, 2024, and September 12, 2024, and accessed or acquired certain data stored within its systems. Following a comprehensive review of the impacted data set, Fleet Landing determined on September 11, 2025, that certain personal information was affected.
The information involved varies by individual but may include a person’s first and last name in combination with one or more additional personal data elements.
Fleet Landing states that it has taken steps to further strengthen the security of its network and has notified federal law enforcement. The organization is also offering affected individuals complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services through HaystackID.
Federman & Sherwood is investigating the incident to determine whether Fleet Landing adequately protected the personal information in its care, and whether impacted individuals may be entitled to compensation, additional identity protection services, or other legal remedies.

- Other sensitive information
