NASCAR Enterprises, LLC, Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (July 25, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has launched an investigation into a recent data breach involving NASCAR Enterprises, LLC, following its notification to the Office of the Maine Attorney General regarding unauthorized access to its network.
According to the company’s disclosure, the incident occurred between March 31 and April 3, 2025, during which time an unauthorized actor accessed and acquired certain files from NASCAR’s internal network. On June 24, 2025, NASCAR determined that certain files contained the name and Social Security number of specific individuals.
In response, NASCAR notified the affected individual by First-Class mail on July 24, 2025, and offered a complimentary one-year membership to Experian IdentityWorks, which provides credit monitoring, identity protection, and restoration services. NASCAR has also implemented additional cybersecurity measures and notified law enforcement.
