Medical Associates of Brevard, LLC (“MAB”) Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (September 8, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces an investigation into a recently disclosed data breach involving Medical Associates of Brevard, LLC (“MAB”), a Florida-based healthcare provider.
According to a filing with the Attorney General of Maine, MAB reported that on January 17, 2025, its systems were compromised in a criminal cyberattack. The organization discovered the breach on July 7, 2025, and confirmed that it affected sensitive information belonging to at least 107 Maine residents.

On September 5, 2025, MAB began mailing written notices to impacted individuals. Out of an abundance of caution, the provider is offering 12 months of free credit monitoring and identity restoration services through Experian.
