McIntosh Laboratory, Inc. Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (December 19, 2025) – Federman & Sherwood, a national law firm with extensive experience representing victims of data breaches and cybersecurity incidents, is investigating a data security incident involving McIntosh Laboratory, Inc., which was reported to the California Attorney General.

According to the notice, McIntosh Laboratory detected suspicious activity on or about October 21, 2025, after experiencing a disruption to certain digital systems. A subsequent forensic investigation determined that an unauthorized actor accessed and acquired certain data between October 17 and October 19, 2025. Following a review of the affected files, McIntosh Laboratory concluded on November 18, 2025, that personal information belonging to individuals may have been compromised.

The information potentially involved in the incident includes individuals’ names along with other personal data, which varied by affected individual. McIntosh Laboratory reported that it secured its systems and notified impacted individuals as required.

Federman & Sherwood is investigating whether McIntosh Laboratory implemented reasonable cybersecurity measures prior to the incident and whether additional safeguards could have prevented unauthorized access. The firm is also evaluating what legal rights and remedies may be available to affected individuals.
