Main Electric Supply Company, LLC (“MES”) Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (September 16, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces it is investigating the recent data breach involving Main Electric Supply Company, LLC (“MES”), headquartered in Santa Ana, California.
According to the notice filed with the California Attorney General, MES detected suspicious activity within its network on July 22, 2025. The company immediately launched an investigation with the assistance of legal counsel and third-party forensic specialists. On August 20, 2025, MES concluded that an unauthorized party may have accessed and acquired files containing personal information of individuals.
The information potentially compromised includes personal identifiers and other sensitive data. While MES stated it has no evidence of misuse, the company has begun notifying affected individuals. As a precaution, MES is providing 12 months of free Single Bureau Credit Monitoring, Credit Reports, and Credit Score services through Cyberscout, a TransUnion company specializing in fraud assistance and remediation services.
