LKQ Corporation Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood

According to the notice, LKQ experienced a cybersecurity incident related to vulnerabilities in Oracle’s E-Business Suite application, a platform used by LKQ and other organizations. In early October 2025, LKQ became aware that a third party was exploiting these vulnerabilities. Specifically, the affected information may have included an Employer Identification Number (EIN) or Social Security number, along with other personal identifiers. LKQ completed its data analysis on December 1, 2025, and began issuing written notifications to affected individuals on December 15, 2025.
LKQ has indicated that it implemented additional safeguards following the incident, including enhanced security monitoring and controls. The company is also offering two years of complimentary credit monitoring and identity restoration services through a third-party provider to impacted individuals.
