LifeLong Medical CareData Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
January 16, 2026– Federman & Sherwood is investigating a data breach involving LifeLong Medical Care, following a notification filed with the Attorney General of California.
According to the filing, the incident originated from a cybersecurity breach at TriZetto Provider Solutions, a business associate used for insurance eligibility verification transactions. TriZetto determined that, beginning in November 2024, an unauthorized actor accessed certain records processed on behalf of healthcare providers, including LifeLong Medical Care.
The information potentially involved varies by individual and may include names and Social Security numbers as well as other personal information. LifeLong Medical Care reported that no payment card or banking information was involved and that identity monitoring and protection services are being offered.
Federman & Sherwood is investigating whether reasonable cybersecurity safeguards and vendor oversight measures were in place and whether affected individuals may have legal claims.
