LaBella Associates Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (November 13, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood announces that it is investigating a data breach involving LaBella Associates, following the organization’s filing of a data breach notification with the Attorney General of Maine.
According to the notice, LaBella Associates detected unauthorized activity within its computer systems on or around March 24, 2025. The company immediately secured its network and engaged third-party forensic investigators to determine the nature and scope of the incident. On October 13, 2025, the company confirmed that an unauthorized party may have accessed certain files containing personal information.
The information that may have been accessed varies by individual but may include a person’s first and last name in combination with other identifying personal data. LaBella has stated that, at this time, it has no evidence that the information has been misused.
LaBella Associates reports that it has implemented additional security measures to help prevent similar incidents in the future. To support affected individuals, the company is offering 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring, including credit report access, credit score monitoring, and identity protection services provided through Cyberscout, a TransUnion company.
Federman & Sherwood is investigating the incident to determine whether LaBella Associates adequately safeguarded the personal information in its possession and whether affected individuals may be entitled to compensation, extended identity protection services, or other legal remedies.
