La Clínica de La Raza Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
January 16, 2026– Federman & Sherwood is investigating a data breach involving La Clínica de La Raza, following a notification filed with the Attorney General of California.
According to the notification, the incident stemmed from a cybersecurity breach at TriZetto Provider Solutions, a third-party vendor that works with La Clínica’s electronic medical record system through OCHIN. TriZetto reported that an unauthorized individual gained access to one of its systems between November 2024 and early October 2025.
The information potentially involved includes names, Social Security numbers, and other personal information. La Clínica stated that there is currently no evidence that affected information has been misused. Notification services, call-center support, and identity theft protection services are being coordinated through TriZetto and its vendors.
Federman & Sherwood is investigating whether appropriate vendor oversight and data protection safeguards were in place and whether individuals impacted by the incident may have legal claims.
The compromised information may have included:
