Interpool, Inc., dba TRAC Intermodal Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (July 29, 2025) – Federman & Sherwood, a national law firm specializing in data breach and consumer privacy litigation, has initiated an investigation into a recent data breach involving Interpool, Inc., doing business as TRAC Intermodal. This incident was reported in a notice filed with the Attorney General of California and impacts both adults and minors.
According to Interpool, an unauthorized third party gained access to a portion of the company’s computer network on or around February 14, 2025, and exfiltrated certain files. The company reports that it completed its review of the affected files on July 15, 2025, and determined that sensitive personal information, including names and other undisclosed data types, may have been compromised.
The breach affected not only individual consumers but also minor dependents whose names and personally identifiable information (PII) may now be exposed to potential misuse. Interpool has offered identity monitoring and fraud assistance services through Cyberscout, a TransUnion company, for a period of 12 months at no cost to impacted individuals and families.
