Hallisey & D’Agostino, LLP Data Breach – Investigated by Federman & Sherwood
April 20, 2026 – Federman & Sherwood is investigating a data breach involving Hallisey & D’Agostino, LLP following a notification filed with the Attorney General of Maine.
According to the notice, the firm identified unusual activity within its computer network on or about October 21, 2025. An investigation determined that an unauthorized actor gained access to its systems between September 28, 2025, and October 22, 2025, and may have accessed or acquired certain files during that time.
The potentially impacted information includes individuals’ names along with additional sensitive personal data elements. Following a comprehensive review completed on or about March 19, 2026, the firm determined that certain individuals’ information may have been involved.

The firm is also offering affected individuals complimentary identity theft protection services through IDX, which includes credit monitoring, identity restoration, and insurance coverage.
