April 20, 2026 – Federman & Sherwood is investigating a data breach involving Georgia Heritage Federal Credit Union following a notification filed with the Attorney General of Maine.
According to the notice, Georgia Heritage Federal Credit Union experienced a ransomware incident on or about January 25, 2025. The organization discovered that cybercriminals may have compromised its network environment, potentially resulting in unauthorized access to certain files.
