Oklahoma City, OK (November 14, 2024) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into WinStar Farm LLC with respect to their recent data breach. On July 15, 2024, WinStar Farm became aware of a cyber security incident in which an unauthorized third party gained access to certain systems in our network and encrypted certain files. Upon becoming aware of this incident, WinStar Farm initiated an investigation into the nature and scope of the incident as well as worked to restore any impacted systems. The investigation determined that unauthorized access to certain WinStar Farm systems occurred, and that certain information on its systems may have been viewed or taken without authorization on July 15, 2024.The following personal information was accessed: individuals name and Social Security number.
