Federman & Sherwood Investigates WD & Associates for Data Breach

Oklahoma City, OK (November 15, 2024) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into WD & Associates with respect to their recent data breach. WD & Associates discovered suspicious activity related to certain workstations and servers within its environment. Upon discovery, WD & Associates immediately took steps to secure the network and launched an investigation to determine the nature and scope of the activity. Through the investigation, WD & Associates determined that certain files on its network were subject to unauthorized access by an unknown actor between February 1, 2023 and February 9, 2023. The following personal information was accessed: individuals name, Social Security number, date of birth, medical information, health insurance information, driver’s license number, financial account information and passport number.
