Oklahoma City, OK (November 27, 2024) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Targus with respect to their recent data breach. On or around April 6, 2024, Targus discovered that it had fallen victim to a cybersecurity incident. Targus promptly engaged a team of cybersecurity experts to assist it with conducting a forensic investigation to determine whether any data or personal information was impacted by the incident. On or around May 9, 2024, the investigation determined that certain data was impacted by the incident. Targus then began a review of the data to determine whether any personal information belonging to individuals was accessed or acquired without authorization as a result of this incident. The impacted information includes the following: individuals name and Social Security number.
