Federman & Sherwood Investigates SRP Federal Credit Union for Data Breach

Oklahoma City, OK (December 13, 2024) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into SRP Federal Credit Union with respect to their recent data breach. SRP Federal Credit Union recently detected suspicious activity in its computer network. Upon discovering the incident, SRP Federal Credit Union immediately implemented its incident response protocols, notified law enforcement, and worked to secure its systems. SRP Federal Credit Union also engaged a forensic security firm to assist with the investigation and confirm the security of its computer systems. The forensic investigation determined that an unknown, unauthorized third party accessed SRP Federal Credit Union’s computer systems at times from September 5, 2024, and November 4, 2024, and potentially acquired certain files from its network during that time. The following personal information was accessed: individuals name and Social Security number.
