Federman & Sherwood Investigates Regional Obstetrical Consultants for Data Breach

Oklahoma City, OK (January 27, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Regional Obstetrical Consultants with respect to their recent data breach. On May 6, 2024, ROC detected suspicious activity in its network environment. Upon discovery of this incident, ROC promptly took steps to secure its network and engaged a specialized cybersecurity firm to investigate the nature and scope of the incident. As a result of the investigation, ROC learned that an unauthorized actor accessed certain files and data stored within its network environment. Upon learning this, ROC began a time-consuming and detailed reconstruction and review of the potentially impacted data at the time of this incident to understand whose information may be affected. ROC determined that the following personal information was accessed: individuals name, date of birth, Social Security number, health insurance information, address, financial account information, diagnosis, phone number, driver’s license information, prescriptions, lab tests, treatment/procedure information, and medical record/patient account number.
