Federman & Sherwood Investigates Regional Care, Inc. for Data Breach

Oklahoma City, OK (December 17, 2024) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Regional Care, Inc. with respect to their recent data breach. On or about September 18, 2024, Regional Care, Inc. detected unusual activity on an account on its network and determined an unauthorized party potentially accessed and/or acquired a limited number of files from its computer systems. Upon discovery, Regional Care, Inc. immediately shut down the account, contained the incident and commenced an immediate and thorough investigation. After an extensive forensic investigation and manual document review. It was determined that one or more of the files potentially accessed and/or acquired by the unauthorized party include the following: individuals name, date of birth, address, Social Security number, driver’s license number or government issued ID number, financial account information, health insurance details, medical information, including record numbers, billing/claims data and diagnosis and treatment information.
