Federman & Sherwood Investigates PLA for Data Breach

Oklahoma City, OK (November 15, 2024) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into PLA with respect to their recent data breach. On September 6, 2024, PLA discovered unusual activity in its digital environment. PLA immediately took steps to end the unusual activity and retained independent cybersecurity experts to determine the nature and scope of the breach. As a result of the investigation, PLA learned that an unauthorized actor acquired limited files stored within its legacy systems. The following personal information was accessed: individuals name, Social Security number and driver’s license number.
