Federman & Sherwood Investigates Oklahoma Spine Hospital for Data Breach

Oklahoma City, OK (November 8, 2024) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Oklahoma Spine Hospital with respect to their recent data breach. On or around July 1, 2024, Oklahoma Spine Hospital discovered potential unauthorized access to an employee email account, which may have exposed certain sensitive information. This prompted the hospital to take measures to secure its email system and launch an investigation. The investigation determined that the following personal information was accessed: individuals name, date of birth, financial account number, medial information, health insurance information, payment card information, driver’s license information and Social Security number.
