Federman & Sherwood Investigates Mission Bank for Data Breach

Oklahoma City, OK (January 29, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Mission Bank with respect to their recent data breach. Mission Bank experienced a network security incident on December 2, 2024. An unauthorized party gained access to certain systems within its network despite their robust information security measures. Upon detecting the suspicious activity, Mission Bank’s IT professionals immediately secured the environment by isolating the impacted systems. Mission Bank then promptly engaged third-party forensic specialists to investigate the incident to determine the extent of unauthorized activity. The investigation determined that the following personal information was accessed: individuals name, Social Security number, date of birth, address, telephone number, driver’s license number or other state-issued identification number, passport number, and financial account number.
