Oklahoma City, OK (November 13, 2024) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Michigan Masonic Home with respect to their recent data breach. Michigan Masonic Home recently became aware of suspicious activity related to an employee email account. Michigan Masonic Home immediately took steps to secure the email account and launched an investigation to determine the nature and scope of the activity. Michigan Masonic Home’s investigation determined that there was unauthorized access to the affected email account from May 28, 2024 to July 18, 2024. The following personal information was accessed: individuals name, Social Security number, date of birth, medical information, health insurance information, driver’s license number, government-issued ID number, treatment information, financial account information, diagnosis, lab results, prescription information, medical record number credit card number, medical history, patient ID number, physician information.
