Mewborn & DeSelms, Attorneys at Law Data Breach – Federman & Sherwood Investigates

Oklahoma City, OK (February 11, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Mewborn & DeSelms, Attorneys at Law with respect to their recent data breach. On April 2, 2024, Mewborn & DeSelms identified a network disruption and promptly initiated an investigation of the matter. Mewborn & DeSelms engaged cybersecurity specialists to assist with the process. As a result of the investigation, Mewborn & DeSelms determined that certain files may have been accessed and/or acquired without authorization on May 30, 2024. Mewborn & DeSelms undertook a comprehensive review of those files and, on or about January 31, 2025, learned that some personal information was contained within the potentially affected data. The following personal information was accessed: individuals name and Social Security number.
