Federman & Sherwood Investigates MembersOwn Credit Union for Data Breach

Oklahoma City, OK (November 4, 2024) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into MembersOwn Credit Union with respect to their recent data breach. On June13, 2024 MembersOwn Credit Union discovered suspicious activity in the credit union’s email environment. Action was taken to secure the system and an investigation was launched. The investigation revealed unauthorized access to a single email account between June 12 and June 13, 2024.By September 3, the credit union confirmed that the following personal data was compromised: individuals name, address, Social Security number, driver’s license/state ID number, health insurance policy number, and financial and payment card information.
