Oklahoma City, OK (November 27, 2024) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Medica Corporation with respect to their recent data breach. Medica Corporation discovered on November 20, 2024 that a security breach may have allowed a ransomware attacker to access the names and Social Security numbers of current and former employees who participated in its 401(k) program. Medica, which manufactures diagnostic blood testing analyzers, is assessing the extent of the breach and plans to arrange a credit monitoring service for affected individuals. According to a company letter, impacted individuals will receive further information on accessing these services if their personal information has been compromised in the Medica Corporation data breach.
