Lucent Health Solutions Data Breach – Federman & Sherwood Investigates

Oklahoma City, OK (February 11, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Lucent Health Solutions with respect to their recent data breach. On October 2, 2023, a Lucent Health manager opened a single phishing email from a trusted broker. Lucent Health’s IT Team identified suspicious activity on the employee’s email account and eliminated access within approximately ninety minutes. Upon learning of this issue, Lucent Health immediately commenced a prompt and thorough investigation working very closely with external cybersecurity professionals to determine whether there was any unauthorized access to protected information. After an extensive forensic investigation, Lucent Health determined that one e-mail account was subject to unauthorized access for a limited period of time, and that the unauthorized individual accessed the following personal information: individuals name, date of birth, Social Security number, and health, dental and vision group and/or plan number.
