Oklahoma City, OK (January 3, 2025) – The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Lexington Diagnostic Center with respect to their recent data breach. Lexington Diagnostic Center announced that it detected unauthorized access on its network around March 16, 2024. Upon discovery, the radiology center secured its network and launched an investigation with the assistance of external cybersecurity experts. The forensic investigation revealed that while the electronic health records system was unaffected, certain archived files may have been accessed or removed between February 26 and March 16, 2024. The investigation could not confirm if personal or health information was compromised. However, a manual review revealed on November 26, 2024 that some files included sensitive personal and health details. Information potentially impacted in the Lexington Diagnostic Center data breach includes full names, addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, medical record numbers, patient account numbers, health plan beneficiary numbers, geographic locations, medical diagnoses and treatments.
